Goals:

Utilize the Science, Engineering, and Computer Labs for added STEAM lessons in science, engineering and technology for all grade levels

Inspire students to appreciate, explore, and improve science knowledge and its application through project-based learning

Use a performance-based approach to teaching and learning with an emphasis on critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity

Require students to articulate and present STEAM content knowledge in a rigorous, coherent curriculum that makes meaningful connections to other disciplines

Offer extracurricular activities in the areas of STEAM subjects including afterschool enrichment, clubs, competitions and science fairs

Build strong school-family-community STEAM Partnerships through connections with parents, local businesses, schools in Area 1, Dobbins AFB, Georgia State University, Georgia Tech and others
