It's all about problem solving in the STEAM Math Lab this year!  Each visit, students are fully engaged in solving problems.  Rather than just giving an answer to a problem, the students are learning to include:

• A Representation-The representation reflects complete understanding of all the important mathematical components presented in the task.

• Strategies & Reasoning-

• Computation & Solution-The computation is accurate and leads to a correct solution(s) that addresses all the mathematical components in the task. 

• Communication-The verbal/written explanation is well organized and easy to follow from one step to the next.
